Anyone know where I can find this album to purchase? I know the disc version is rare. Just looking for mp3's that I can put on my ipod. I have his two other albums and I'm going to see him in May. Trying to get his older stuff without having to listen to youtube all the time!

No, but I'd love to find it. I'm a big fan of Metamodern Sounds and Hightop Mountain.
Someone's bound to know where to get mp3's as there's YouTube videos of the music. If Sturgill was smart, he would release it on iTunes but I don't know who has the rights to it and I'm sure former band members would need their cuts. It's good stuff though!

It used to be on iTunes and CDBaby. In this old interview ((link removed)) from just before the release of Metamodern, Sturgill talks about having 800 copies of the CD at his house. Sometime after Metamodern took off, distribution of the Sunday Valley material was pulled. Have never seen any discussion of why they no longer want it available.
