I don't get it, most of the stuff announced at winter NAMM still hasn't hit the street, what's the game here?

It’s like going to a fashion show. You won’t see any of that stuff until next season, and what’s more, by the time it makes its way to the clearance rack, we’re talking years. Don’t even get me started with what I look like wearing the stuff compared to the models. Not even close.

I for one am happy that skinny jeans have finally hit the thrift stores (again). I was so tired of those "loose fit" (FAT) jeans.

    It's like it's 1982.

NAMM is meant for retailers to get their orders in, not for you to pull your wallet out. The fact that they have us drooling months out is a bonus for them, I guess.

Summer NAMM is kinda less relevant than winter NAMM, but they're both more about suppliers/vendors/merchants than end consumers. I mean, the guy selling you the new toy needs to know about it, or they're an I'll equipped salesman. But the speed of business in 2019 means we all act like it's a parade of stuff to shop for, because companies need us to think like that as they peddle thier wears to other people who will also be peddling them. It's good advertising. Kind of...
