Yep. I don’t play anything else since I got my Silver Sky. I pick them up and noodle, but they haven’t been going to gigs. And they’re nice guitars. Very nice. But the PRS is just on a whole other level. It’s ruined other guitars for me.

I have this exact "problem" with the exact same guitar.

What's worse is that I have another custom guitar on order and I know I'm not going to love it enough to play it as much as I should.

I like variety and I like to switch it up.

For the longest time I played 1 guitar but now I go for whatever flavor I'm hungry for; Tele, Strat, Les Paul, SG...though I have to admit I have 3 Teles right now.

We talk about this often.
I’ve owned dozens over the years.
I’m now down to 4 total; 3 acoustic and one electric.
I decided a few years ago I’d rather own fewer, better guitars.
I am very well satisfied.

I would never have an inferior version of my #1 guitar, because as you say, what’s the point? On the other hand, I like having other styles of guitar to change things up, even if I always come back to #1.

Me too.

Have 2 tele.

One American Standard LE channel bound. had a tech set it up. all good.

Have a G&L ASAT Tribute Carved Flame maple top (humbuckers). I did the setup on it, new strings, etc. much less expensive but looks great and sounds great, feels great. (I am replacing the yuk pots, tho). Fun.

The Fender is my first born but they get equal play, now.
