In honor of the 20th anniversary, they are re-releasing a special digital remixed "Forrest Gump" in IMAX theaters this week. I've seen the movie many many times, especially on cable but for some reason, I'm wanting to go pay money to see it again. Iconic movie for sure....That's all I have to say about that.

Not a fan. I'd pay to see Karl Childers (Sling Blade) whoop Forrest Gump. Yup.

Hmmm, far too many close-ups in that movie for me to watch it on an IMAX screen.

I'd love to meet the guy who convinced Tom Hanks that he is a genius and kick him right in the 'nads.

One of my favorite movies--because I grew up in that era and because I've been to Savannah many times.

It's a great movie but what is there about any of the cinematography that screams this belongs on an IMAX screen? I don't get it.

Grapes of Wrath + Candide = Gump.

I like that movie, but don't need to go to a theater for it again.

I really liked Forest Gump, but I don't watch it very often because its like 14 hours long. If I was going to sit down and watch a 14 hour long Tom Hanks movie it would be Saving Private Ryan.
