Interesting Wiki page ... "It has been banned from consumption in Japan since 1977, as the Japanese government considers it toxic."

I've only heard demos of the Strymon Flint, but I think it sounds great.

And about that white tuna, I ate at an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant last week and had 3 or 4 pieces of white tuna and I was fine. That and about 2 dozen other pieces of sushi and sashimi and a 1/4 lb of pickled ginger and a couple of 20 oz. Sapporo's. What can I say, it was all-you-can-eat.

    I loves me some Google.

"...An expert would call it 'keriorrhoea'. Literally translated, it means 'flow of wax'. Oily orange droplets pouring out your pooper. Keriorrhoea occurs because the wax esters in the flesh of the fish pool up in your intestine..."

    Good times!

I love it all on the Flint...well, except for the opto roach trem. Love the verbs and the other two trems.
The 80s rack verb will make a glorious sound with the Decay knob at 0 and the mix knob around 10-11. Almost a slapback. I really love this pedal.

Sorry to rehash this old thread but anyone compare the Strymon Flint to the Keeley Omni Reverb?

Flint > Quilter > cab = blackface Fenders in a small bag

Deco > Flint > Quilter > cab = all Fenders, ever, in a small bag

    thereabouts

Dang, I shouldn't have read that. I've got a 101 Mini that I've been loving with hall reverb (HOF 2) in the FX loop (the Quilter stays on the "surf" voice almost all the time). I've now gotten to the stage where I don't think I'm just content with hall reverb though, and I've sort of been looking at adding trem back to the pedalboard that the 'verb pedal is on, anyway.

...I think I'm on the slippery slope, as I was looking at the Blue Sky and Big Sky, and trying to look away...now I need to reconsider the Flint...

they're in business for a reason, lol

to keep myself in check, I keep going back to what I *need* to accomplish and let that drive my purchases

like, I'd love to drop $300 right now on a Deco, but what I really *need* is a pair of mics

this is why we have side jobs, to feed our hobbies!

Love everything about my Flint...the reverb's AND the tremolo's...think they sound wonderful, and both the build quality and customer service is as good as it gets...although I also like to factor in my Bigfoot MagnaVibe, I am still very much enamored with the sound of those old pitch shifting Magnatone's, need to be able to hear that sound....AND I'm also a big sushi fan...
