How much more do you need? When I need a few mm extra a Wilkinson with the adjustable G/B has a lower profile than the lightening bolt style. I've read that the PRS wraptails have a low profile too.

Let's see that whole guit. That decal looks intriguing.
The whole what? What's the point in shortening guitar by 2 letters?

While untraditional I my fav top loader for builds is a Schaller 3D roller bridge. In addition to top quality the roller are adjustable to change string edge and between spacing as desired. They also come with a spacer for elevated installations for angled neck as used in set necks.

I always recommend these to my customers with 50's and 60's Tales with spotty intonation.

Yup. Fender's compensated saddles do the same thing.

It bothers me too, but I've used 'em on two guitars now and never had any issues.

You can push the saddles side to side to try to straighten out the intonation screws.

And you can encourage the string to go where you want it by guiding it during tightening.

But the issue will still be there.

And if you use the the bridge screws that are flat on top and fully recess into the countersink, you are less likely to have them interfere.

That’s why Rutters is the way to go! IMO the angled saddles have always looked kinda weird anyway.
I have found Rutters saddles to not only keep the strings in the correct spot on the saddles but a quite noticeable improvement in tone. They have a groove for the string that is nearly hidden when the strings are installed. If you don't wish to buy different saddles I would suggest you might want to file a very shallow groove in the saddles at the proper place for the strings to rest in.

Check the string width on this cut off bridge. It may be one of the narrow 2-1/8 spacing bridges. You need the wide 2-7/32 tele spacing. Good luck with your project,
