String Tension - Does Bridge Make a Difference?

    I've never heard anyone say topwrapping a LP made it more difficult to bend.

    Yeah, as I indicated it's complex. I would say the top wrapped has no string behind the bridge, so is stiffer.

    Until someone can come up with two identical guitars with identical set-ups, nuts, strings, frets, and necks (good luck with that!), it would be difficult to assess a single component such as the bridge. Then, test with multiple players (with bridge covered) and ask for blind results. Sounds like allotta work for minimal gain in knowledge. And people will still disagree.
