first part of clip with bridge pup with tone rolled down, second part with neck pup tone all the way up.

Amp: Friedman PT-20 through a 1x12 avatar with Celestine G12H. Delay and reverb in FX loop. No overdrive just amp gain

Thanks. I have a tele with Lollars in the bridge and a Fralin big T in the neck that sounds good too. Video below

Friedman amps get a lot of accolades mostly for high gain. IMO they are under estimated for low mid gain.

Yes lollar specials in all positions, in addition they are flat poles Not staggered
Do you find a big difference in the flat pole vs staggered? I am seriously thinking about getting the specials with flat poles. Jason says they have more presence and better string balance.

I have flat pole in both tele and strat, I have not tried staggered lollar pups. I had staggered fender pups originally. To me it seemed I was always fighting the guitar to get dynamics.

I really play with a pretty light touch so perhaps the better volume balance between strings just works for me. You can still get plenty of dynamics though.

Some players I know play with a heavy touch and pick attack, perhaps for those players it would be more difficult to switch to flat pole
