Strat switch tip for Tele?

Hi everybody,

bought one off ebay but it didn't fit, anybody could suggest a Strat switch tip that for sure will fit a Tele?
I'd like to put it in a Joe Strummer tele, so it's basically a 60s MIM.

There are two types of all these switch tips, a metric size and an imperial one.

I believe the Strummer has the imperial (CRL or Oak Grigsby) switch, so you just need to get the right tip.

(link removed) has them but shipping will cost more than the tip. Try a local GC or Sam Ash.
