Hey folks, for a real Fender ( assuming MIM), this is a good deal and IMO beautiful too!
I have had Fat '50's pickups in my '97 Tex-Mex Strat since 2000, and love them- clean or dirty

I agree that's a grood deal on these. I have one of them but mine's the surf green version (for whatever reasons my cell phone's camera can't capture the color well and it comes off being a bit "bluer" in the pictures than in person):

Looks like a great deal. I've always dug Fiesta Red and only had a Warmoth Strat body in that color. Somehow didn't quite hit my expectations. It and Surf Green are two favorite classic solid colors of mine and conspicuously absent from my collection.

What's scary, is,
I actually have the $$ ( a real rarity) to buy this.

But constant 'fluctuating household $$ issues'
( aka, my life, for 65 years!), my common sense tells me,
"NO WAY!, DON'T!"

* but this is one beautiful Stratocaster! And a great player, I would think

The problem with Strats is, there are so damn many of them out there that there's always a good deal on one somewhere. That's how I would up with six. And really I'm not much of a Strat guy.

Nowadays I've learned to keep my powder dry until I find something I absolutely can't live without.

Yes... that is a good price.
But I have a Jazzmaster and a 1999 Fender Tele Nashville with a B bender. It's my cure for Strat fever when it rises up.

I guess that’s a pretty good deal these days, but I’m glad I stocked up on the guitars I need before the time came that it took nearly $1000 CDN to get a “Stupid Deal” on a MIM Fender. :(

Aaawwwww...I'm full up on Strats. BUT, I did play one of these (surf green) at the GC a while back and it was a great feeling/sounding guitar.

My buddy ( Beatles nut) has an older one in Sonic Blue that I always play when I come over to jam ( he has a million guitars and amps)
It is super comfy, great setup & tone

Good thing it's not Candy Apple Red (or maybe it was Metallic Red?) with a painted headstock. An ex-girlfriend had one that, to my memory, was the best sounding/looking Strat I've ever played. (note: objects in memory may have been less cool than they appear)

And I've just recently reminded myself what's fun about S-types (built-in spring reverb!)
