    Uno mas = 2220.

MIM 2004 Standard for $210 on CL.

Fender calls this finish "Satin Rosewood Midnight Blue". I call it, "PURPLE HAZE!" :D :p :D

(Tuned to Eb standard, of course! ;) )

EDIT: I remembered adding a guitar at the beginning of last summer, and the counts were higher then...

    http://www.tdpri.com/forum/stratocaster-discussion-forum/86402-strat-headcount-30.html#post4284332

Sure enough, looks like we lost a couple hundred in July... Looking back, it seems we lost 215 Strats... 214 of these were due to Luthier Atlanta, but Canjay25 cost us another one...

I'm pretty sure there are other miscalculations caused by people just saying they got a new Strat, and not bothering to add it to the previous number. Not that it really matters, but if we're counting, why not actually COUNT?! :)

    2220 plus the missing 215 equals 2435.

Can we agree to start counting again from 2435?

    I don't know.

I owned a Tele back in the 70s, bought a Strat in the late 70s.

Today I own both a Tele and a Strat. They naturally compliment each other.

How about this... Since math is obviously a sore spot for the majority of Strat owners on this forum, if you don't bother to add your new Strat(s) AND provide a running total, we don't count it?!

    For example:

Post #3 - I just got one too.

    Post #4 - i just picked another. 7 + 1 = 8...

Since poster #3 didn't bother adding his Strat to the running total, poster #4 can just ignore it.

I'm also in favor of the "pics or it didn't happen" guideline (rules are so formal... lol) Doesn't have to be the exact guitar, although the exact guitar is preferable. Just try and include a little eye-candy... ;)

Since the last two posts didn't have pics AND didn't bother to include a running total, I suggest we begin the counting again at 2435...

Unless someone wants to go to the beginning of this thread and try and count how many Strats are supposed to be represented in this thread. I know I don't... :p

2435 going once, 2435 going twice...

    2435 + 1 = 2436

I didn't add mine to the count..
