Just got my first Telecaster about 3 months ago after playing a Strat for 10+ years. Something about the Telecaster makes it an absolute joy to play. Don't why I didn't get one sooner.

This is why I play a "hybrid". It's essentially a tele with strat contours and a middle pickup on its own volume pot.
    I dig it.

As someone who played a Tele for 6 years before getting anything else I would naturally find it easier to play. It's all what you're used to.

Yeah but Teles SOUND better than strats, and that's simply a measurable fact. QED. No more discussion.

I love them both. It's all in where you place your picking hand, and why. A brighter tone toward the bridge, and more round tone toward the neck.

I think the ease of Strat vs Tele just comes down to what you prefer.

A Tele just feels right to me! I'm never really comfortable when
I pick up a Strat. Perhaps it's the extra knob, extra pup, 5way
switch, and whammy bar. Also every Strat I've played has had
    pretty light gauge strings.

Teles just seem solid, purposeful, and versatile with great tone.

tele are more confortable, tele is good for you and me, tele makes me happier, but strat suits better for all occasions. Thats the truth.,
