Who was the weather forecaster on old channel 9 out of DC who used to have, on windy days, a "Wig and toupee alert"?
This spoof cracks me up...
We call that a bread and milk snow. Just enough for our local storm team to send out a warning causing people to buy up all of the bread and milk in the stores
GeniusI have a theory about that (panic buying of milk, eggs, bread and toilet paper). I think when the weather changes, most people eat a bunch of French toast and poo a lot.
I could be wrong. But maybe not.
Well I’m watching for the Alberta Clipper to bring the January Deep FreezeThey seem to have stopped using the term 'Polar Vortex' this winter, but it sure had an excitable ring to it for a few seasons, didn't it?
Comedian Lewis Black rants about this overdone drama on The Weather Channel.
I wish it would just stop.

Wow, did not know that. Also did not know Bob Ryan was still alive! Been out of the area since 2007.That was the great Doug Hill, who sadly went to The Big Partly Cloudy just last month.

She used to be local here in Chicago. We just got our first measurable snow for the season, and are supposed to get 6 inches on Sunday; overdue. But we're used to it, unlike, you know, Appleton, WI (?!?!?!?)I like it better when they have hottie weather girls like Ginger Zee.
Something, something, Guitar Center bankruptcy, something, something. . .Gosh, I wonder what else the media flogs like this?
