Chocolate chip cookie time.:) Yup, we are in for a huge snow dump. About 5" so far while just making the cookies. Then tomorrow a "wind event" and then tomorrow night down to record low 0°F. I say four dozen should last us til' Sunday. Although my wife is a chocolataholic, so one never knows. IMG_4719.JPG IMG_4723.JPG

We’re getting the same cold front a couple states south of you tomorrow night. Not expected to get much snow, but we’re supposed to see our coldest temps of the fall so far...a balmy 20 compared to your zero.:D

Another reason not to get an electric Hummer: with all that snow and ice, you'll never get any traction with all that excess torque, nor will regenerative braking work.

That oven is awesome! I moved to the Northwoods of WI 3 years ago and love the snow days. Fires, baking and sometimes a couple hours on generator power. Love it

Yeah, but I have to stoke the fire between batches.

It is our workhorse with the waterjacket that I installed into the firebox, it not only cooks and heats the house on mild days, but heats up our water for six months out of the year.

Ha, yeah. I wonder how well the Hummer EV does at -20°F?

Used to make cookies when my kids were little. If I was really lucky I'd get one without getting bit!

Probably not too pretty good. Batteries hate severe cold.

Your just about too late. Droves are buying homes and property sight unseen this year.

    Crazy stuff.

    I have no idea why.
