Does anyone remember this album? It's a jazz-fusion-space-rock album from 1976 with Steve Winwood, Michael Shrieve, Al DiMeola, Pat Thrall, Klaus Schulze and others. I always thought of it as the true sequel to "Dark Side of the Moon" or the lost Pink Floyd album. I pulled it out the other night on vinyl and gave both the original and the Live in Paris albums. They still sound good! There was a follow up called Go Too but it was without Steve Winwood. I've never heard that one.
In this era of reunions, this is the band I'd like to see reunite.

I do remember the album, but only from seeing the cover. I never managed to listen to it.

I have that record, the live on in Paris, that is. It is rather "atmospheric" in nature. Lots of soundscapes. Ghost Machine is the feature tune, to me anyway. It has it's high points. There are tons of synthesizers in the mix. Not stellar, but pretty good stuff, IMO.

...I remember Stomu-san!!!...

...because Shrieve was in the SF Bay Area,I would see,or hear about "GO" playing around the time the record came out, because of the local interest Michael would generate...used to hear Pat Thrall in the local clubs as well...remember Todd Cochrans' "Automatic Man"???...Michael Shrieve and Pat Thrall were part of that band as well...

Spent far too many hours during my first try at University listening to that album repeatedly and enjoying better living through chemistry.
