Man, that sucks.
Too many knobs...
I hate a freaking thief
I believe a stolen gear forum would be an awesome addition to TDPRI. I have no time for gear thieves.
Birch is a legend.
The cutting off of a hand is appropriate punishment for a thief. I'll be happy to swing the axe.
8 knobs and a switch. wow.
love the simplicity of a Tele
(hope he is able to get the guitar back).
Thieves suck. I had an office break in at my church last October. Lost three guitars and some other small gear.
There is this one. http://www.stolenguitarregistry.com/ But it's a registry, not a forum.
Did you "drunk post" that or are you prepared to defend your statement? Because if you drunk posted it, I'll let it go.
YES I'll defend my statement: Birch is a legend!
I think you may have the wrong John Birch in mind. Have a drink of grape juice and think it over.
The John Birch I have in mind is the guy from the UK that built many famous guitars.
Here's Dave Hill of Slade with his Super Yob, built by Birch in the early 70s.
I didn't know that John Birch was a guitar maker. He may have been very good, but that "Super Yob" is just ugly IMO.
I thought this thread would be about the John Birch Society, named for the officer considered to be the first American casualty of the "cold war".
