I've watched several guitar teachers over the years on YouTube and there are several good ones and not so good ones and some that are better than good for me. Stitch Method is one of the great ones. For whatever reason, he explains things in a way that make perfect sense to me. Some other guys can't explain things in a simple manner or don't even want to make it simple. He makes most everything simple and has a knack at getting the lesson across. One of those guys who can play and teach. As we know there are many great athletes but they make terrible coaches or smart individuals who can't teach what they worth a lick. He's not one of those. He has a way. He does a lot of basic guitar/fretboard/theory teaching but also jumps into the mind of certain players such as Jerry.
Just curious if others watch any of his videos.

here's a nice one for Morning Dew (oh what a song)

Count me in on watching Stitch.
He has some good Garcia lessons.

I agree his method is nice because of the way he breaks it down and analyzes instead of just teaching licks and songs. He also does a nice job of explaining how to use his lesson as a jumping off point to start doing your own thing.

Yep, I'm a subscriber of Stich's channel. Great teacher and a really down to earth guy.

Oh yeah, Ian is a great teacher. I've done the Bluesmaster class 1 and 2.He's the teacher that made the most sense to me.

The beginning of that clip is so great!

One thing that always blew me away about Garcia is could get SO MUCH from one position! It'd sound like he was all over the fretboard yet he'd be in a 3-4 fret box!

I've watched a couple and agreed with the OP. In particular I like how he gets the theory part across. Clearly passionate about GD music and I think his insights seem pretty spot on.

Ian is definitely one of the best on the YouTube. His simplistic yet thorough way of explaining thing is the key he demonstrates to getting the point across of the lessons.
