I got this here strat right around the time my grandfather passed away in the fall of 2007 and I've been playing it non-stop ever since. Absolutely brilliant guitar. It's a 60's dealer select Wildwood 10 in faded sonic blue. 50 made in this colour. Really resonant piece of wood that just kills plugged in. I asked that they pick out a nice light relic job as I'm not too into the heavy relics and they did just that. Right around the 7lbs. mark. I've managed to 'relic' it further, naturally, over the past few years and I love it more and more each day!

    sick guitar, sick amps.

I've been gassing for a wildwood thin skin sonic blue strat, among other things.

Very nice guitar. Love sonic blue.

My two cents though: replace the guard with a Fender brand mint green. That one is far too green and takes away from the blue.

Very nice. I had a 2002 C/S CC Relic in Daphne Blue. I put a set Rolph pu's in it. It was just awesome. The neck pu alone would kill. I remember when I sold it - the guy could'nt get the money out of his pocket fast enough! Really wish I kept it.

Glad you guys dig it :D

Anyone with a Wildwood try swapping out the pups? I've heard great things about the Suhr's and I do wish these were a little... livelier (?) sounding.

One more shot that shows the colours nicely:

Looks perfect the way it is. Very classy Strat. I'm considering a Wildwood 10 (59) with a brazilion board. Very expensive but feel this may be the last chance to get the top of what the CS has to offer. I like the Dakota Red with the AA flame neck. It's one of those guitars that give you sleepless nights.

Looks awesome man, like a super-classy version of the Classic Player 60s I just bought actually (but clearly about 100x cooler)

That about the perfect weight for a strat. Great color too.

As far as pickups, I bet the Suhrs are great. I hate to sound like a broken record but I use Budz in mine and they are just right. You might check them out.
