    Go Stijn!

This is one of my favorite builds. I just can't wait to hear it. There will definitely be some very unusual resonances with this guitar.

    Ok, almost there ...
But still a lot to do ...

    Drilled dots:

drilled holes for tuners and burned the headstock:

prepared the lefty bridge for multi-scale neck:

first I've put the bridge on the right spot, then I used a loose bridge saddle to calculate the right position for treble and bass E string.

use a pointy thing for the right location and drill:

When drilled use the bridge as a guideline for the string through channels:

Take the bridge of again, and locate the holes on the back:

Picture with the string ferulles on the back is coming soon.

Did I mention my little mistake???

Look at the left sight of the bridge:

Drilled out the hole for the jack:

    Neck weight is:

    And lacquer:

Fortunately it's not a mistake that will have any influence on the playability. I know if you had time you would be able to fix it, one way or another.
You could even snap a corner out of the bridge to make it fit the soundhole :D

    Love that neck :p

I've heard that option before, and was also my first thought.

But its the place where you rest your right hand, I don't think it would be a pleasant feeling ...

So the lacquer must've doubled the weight of that neck.

Na, don't think so, I drilled the holes for the neck mounting screws.
The weight I lost there is back on with the lacquer ;)

Somebody mentioned .007 strings, they will also reduce the weight
