That's the time zone of this part of the earth (those are the settings now) but I want to know the timezone where the TDPRI 'big boss' lives, so I wouldn't be to late with posting my final pics and youtube clip !

Thanks, It still looks ugly, but it's gonna be a lot better at the end of next week !

Most likely he lives to the West, so keeping your own timezone you will be on the safe side. If he lives in the US time difference will be about 6 hours so you will have time until May 15 about 6 in the morning.

(I assume Belgium still uses the Dutch timezone :D ?)

BTW: Now you also know why the crisis started in the US - They are still asleep over there while we already worked half a day. That had to go wrong some time ;) )

Set your time to GMT -6. That should be US Central Time Zone.

After the dry test run: do it again and ad glue :)

After a quiet night I took it out of the clamps ...
It certainly looks like a neck ...

    Chunky D-shape:

Needs a lot of TLC but I'm getting there, I think I will give it 2 layers of brushed schellac, otherwise I can't finish it in time ...

OMG, no more neck shaping. I love it :)
That might very well be the most innovative guitar of the year

How does it feel? Does it feel like a normal neck? Stable? That's such a cool idea!

    It feels chunky !
But extremely light, when finished I put it on the balance, really curious about it.

I think I'm going to make the sound sample while tuning it up. It can be the first and last time that neck produces any sound ... :D:eek:

But so I have my 60 sec's of "guitar being played" ...

    Wow Stijn!

This is completely cool! It's Roboneck! I thought minor neck routing was extreme but this is over the top! I bet this guitar is going to have a very beautiful, almost acoustic-like tone. Can't wait for the video!

I was thinking the same this afternoon: How will the neck respond to string vibration.
And would it change while taking your hands of ?

    Curious ...

I'm optimistic, Stijn; I doubt it'll snap while you're tuning up. Three CF rods are a lot of stability, I'm thinking.

    Can't wait for the vid.

****ed up a small little detail on the guitar body ...
Its a pity, but she would be playable on monday for sure, even if I have to French polish all night long ...
