stickers on your guitar yay or nay

As long as you own the guitar.

Fender puts stickers on the back reminding you not to throw away the guitar. Seems unnecessary. But anyone on the fence about throwing away a brand new guitar, they see the sticker and it makes them think twice.

One of my best friends used to slap a sticker on each guitar the day he got it. Used to drive me nuts; some of them I never saw without a sticker. He stopped a few years ago.
