I've been putting these on my guitars. Just a silly personal fetish. They don't affect the tone. I wouldn't put anything on my acoustics though.

My only concern is what's been mentioned before: if the sticker's on the paint long enough, there's going to be a difference in paint color when you pull it off. If you love the sticker enough to justify that, and you just don't want to put it on the pickguard, then go for it.

I'm personally not a fan of stickers on my guitars (or amps).

I purchased my DREAM guitar about 7 or 8 years ago off eBay, a 52 AVRI HotRod Telecaster. There were about 12 pics on the listing, only 2 showed there was a sticker on it. When I got the guitar, it had a big 50s style "girly" sticker on it, just below the bridge. Not a BIG deal, so I pulled it off. But, even to this day when I'm in the right lighting, you can clearly see the outline of where that sticker was (which irks me a little). Not sure if it's because of the nitro finish or because the sticker was on much longer than I realized and it was burned into the finish from years of being on there??

Leave them on, then write a bunch of songs about how your Dickies saved your skin from getting torn up in Maico bike wipeouts in a wide range of absurd circumstances. Make a few videos, as ridiculous as possible, with the clothing and bikes, illustrating the songs. Get gigs at off road events and show the videos behind the band.

Hey gang, just wanted some thoughts on this, not sure how I feel about it myself… the stickers that is. The Maico is an ode to the great terry kath but the others don’t really mean anything. The one on the horn is kinda covering a weird acetone accident. Yes no maybe so???

I wouldn't cover that beautiful Tele up with any stickers. Let it's uniqueness shine through.

Hey, the stickers look cool. One question though. What's the link between Maico, in Europe that was a motorcycle brand renowned for
two stroke MX-bikes, and Terry Kath ??

Putting a cheap piece of paper or vinyl with glue on the back on top of a nicely-finished guitar seems impulsive and backwards to me. Unless the finish is poly, finish damage is not inevitable but very possible. The sticker blocks sunlight, often leaving a darker area underneath if you remove it. Stickers for branded, non-musical products seem idiotic to me, thought "cult" identifiers -- such as Harley-Davidson -- are by now customary enough to be a "thing" (or a meme?). If you really want opinions, mine is that those particular stickers look like s---. Color, shape, content... in all respects, I think they're just an eyesore. They remind me of PGA shirts with little logos embroidered for cash, or a NASCAR paint job with advertising everywhere.

If the stickers don't have any significance to you, I don't see the point. Dickies aren't bad work clothes but they don't seem like something a person would be passionate enough to put on a guitar.

It's like putting a "Ford F150" sticker on your guitar. You're playing a Telecaster with a leather strap so you're country enough. I'll give you a pass on the obvious Seymour Duncan humbucker in the bridge ;)

Heck, I'd let the acetone accident show. Make up a story for it -- some crazy lady threw nail polish remover at you for rejecting her advances or something.

It's YOUR guitar! Why ask anyone?? Maico's were great motorcycles when I raced MX in the 70's, BTW
