I find Seagall, and Nugent both occupy the same spot on my fireplace mantle, and for the same reasons,

yes, he has defence chops and yes, he is lucky enough to have a historical valuable guitar collection as we all may have wished for in our life time
yes, he was married to Kelly le brock, and obviously yes he is not a warm and fuzzy public image

    this how I veiw him

    gary-larsen.png

61 posts later and people are still beating him up cuz they cant physically , let him enjoy his life as weird as it seems he's earned all the things he's got and its all his

the early Arnold movies were equally as bad as anything Seagall did untill he got his butt tatoo'd with an alien foot print then they started to give him some interesting roles.

Eh. If me not enjoying a movie thirty years ago and typing about it here keeps him from enjoying his life then he can always hit me up and I’ll gladly apologize.

Not sure if this bit of brilliance was already mentioned here, if so I do apologize.
Seagal had a well written, perhaps brilliant bit in "The Onion Movie".
It may have went direct to DVD, or possibly didn't make it that far.
If you are not familiar with the Onion, well, you better sit down and don't take life too seriously.

Wait for it.... or jump to it @ 1:07

I think it's a great skit for him, he plays it well, straight faced... well done sir, well done!

JK, the movie while entertaining, is so oozing it's hard to stomach.

Here guys, take three minutes and watch this Seagal trailer of a recent movie. [No, I do not ascribe to the 'we are better than this' mindset of not having a laugh at a guy who is fodder for mirth]

It has everything you need to know ... it proves the 'trailer is better than the entire movie' theory. You get Steven, sitting and looking wise (I think), and also nodding (I think; barely perceptible movement). Lots of stuff gets blowed up real good. Exotic locales. At least four (count 'em!) smoking hot women, all significantly younger than Steve, including his IRL current (fourth) wife!

It looks like something you'd see as a weekly series on the USA Network cable channel. But I think I liked it better when they called it Burn Notice. At least that one had Bruce Campbell.

    Dig the current Steve~

Washed up, uninteresting, easy joke target but still gets 4 pages (and counting) on THE major guitar forum: not too shabby.

My brain is bleeding from the lyrics far more than anything else in the trailer. I need to rinse my mind with some MST3K.

This was filmed somewhere in Serbia, the guy was just explaining to the TV team how accidents often happen at that certain spot of the road and there it goes.

    Are you joking?

That car is many times too small, for SS to even fit into.

    :^)

They could pull the racing seat and the roll cage out and he still couldn't get in there.

Probably one of the local Steven SeNegals. The way balkanian macho beaters and fans of his action movies call him for the lack of proper pronounciation.:D

Good catch right there, it would have had to have been one of those Mercedes Benz Delivery trucks with the seat and driving controls WAAYYYY in the back! Ummm, I dunno, maybe something bigger.

I fail to see why his size should have anything to do with him being onscreen? Some of the great entertainers have been heavier-set.

I think being heavier is just not something you usually associate with a stealth Ninja/ Martial artist/ hero type character. It's also a shock for some to see the change after maybe last seing him in 80's and 90's Seagal movies.

Most people gripes against him are more to do with his role playing, acting and movies though. He does provide much entertainment. Just not how he intends to sometimes.
    Imo he's a funny guy.

I liked his brother, Jonathan Livingston Seagull, but he hasn't been seen since the 70s.
