GOD I hate Steve Young!! They guy just can't give any credit to the boys, even after they blow out the Eagals, he's bragging about how great Donovan Mcflabb is, and he isn't impressed with the boyz, Hello!! Did he see who won the game??? He gets on my last nerve, and everytime Emmit is trying to say something, he chimes in like he knows it all and belittles Emmit's comments. What really gets me, is that he was inducted to the HOF before Irvin, I know Irvin had his problems off the field, but he was a first ballot HOF, and some scrub like Steve Young gets in, I've only ever seen him have two or three good seasons, not great, but good. It's like he hates the Cowboys because they always had his number and he just can't get over it!!!

"STeve Young is a hater." then "god, I hate Steve Young." Strong passions.....
Don't be hating haters. That might lead to self-loathing?????
Just an observation....it is only a game ....that has evoloved into entertainment.
Now, if they would show more of the cheerleaders as they did back in the day when the cheerleaders were brought onto the pro game/entertainment field, I might take it more seriously. Seriously, I would. LOL

The good news is that Michael Irvin will be a 1st ballot vote for the Crack Hall of Fame, the Woman Beater Hall of Fame and the Ego Fall of Fame.

    So all is not lost.

As a life long-Cowboys fan, I too hate Steve Young, the football player, not Steve as a person, or even his accomplishments ... like, graduating from law school. Not many people graduate from law school. Way to go Steve!

I also hate Brett Favre, the football player.

And Joe Montana, the football player.

And Joe Theisman, the football player.

And as a general rule, I'm not a big fan of any sports commentator/announcers.

Except Emmit Smith, Troy Aikman, and I'll even listen to Michael Irvin, Moose Johnston, and Deion Sanders from time to time.

Last night on the radio announcement of the game (I watch the games with the TV on mute, but listen to the play-by-play on the radio....can't stand the TV announcers)... anyway, Michael Irvin said the following,

"They much mo able to tackle heem, when he in they grasp. Onced he longa in they grasps, they don't tackle heem near as much."

The Cowboy's almost blew that game, but luckly Tony Romeo put them head and defense shut down McNabb and the eagles from scoring. Otherwise the commentors would have been talking more about Romeo fumble in the end zone that turn into a touchdown for the eagles.

It was a really good game. Commentators? Do the 70's pothead thing.... tv on, sound off, stereo on, sound up. If you need the commentators to explain the game or even call the game for you... well, you'd be my wife's family.

Now THIS is the best idea to come along yet. Why not split the TV screen...one side can have the silly footballers, while the other have closeups of THE CHEARLEADERS.:!::D

ha ha! I am laughing out loud... you know if you take them to a game you spend the whole time getting food and going to the bathroom and worrying about traffic. My son rolls his eyes if he finds out anyone else is going to the game but just the two of us.
