I remember that soulful, Aretha Franklin type background voice that comes in at 2:22. I never knew that was Chaka Khan. And Eric Clapton on rhythm and lead (solo) electric guitar(s).

Whoa! It's been more than 40 years since I last heard that tune. I never knew Chaka Kahn and Clapton were on that track. And Russ Kunkel on drums! Stephen Bishop was HUGE for 15 minutes.

It's a figure of speech.

It's originally from Andy Warhol: "Everyone is famous for 15 minutes." And then years later, Quentin Crisp said of Warhol, "Never did anyone do less to gain more acclaim." He was correct.

Bishop was HUGE in the 70s. He did the theme for Animal House. He also produced some huge records for other bands and artists as well.

That’s amazing….I used to play that song almost 47 years ago…I played that guitar solo dozens of times and never realized it was Clapton.
