Only 15 minutes? I recall Save It For A Rainy Day and On And On got a lot of airplay circa 1977.

It's a figure of speech.

It's originally from Andy Warhol: "Everyone is famous for 15 minutes." And then years later, Quentin Crisp said of Warhol, "Never did anyone do less to gain more acclaim." He was correct.

Bishop was HUGE in the 70s. He did the theme for Animal House. He also produced some huge records for other bands and artists as well.

That’s amazing….I used to play that song almost 47 years ago…I played that guitar solo dozens of times and never realized it was Clapton.
