Wired the Rectifier Socket from PT and a little of the Output from the OT.

I used them because I liked the grain and knots in them. Every board is dovetailed and gives much strength from separation. The side boards even have an Inlay across the strips that will strengthen them from separation. I don't foresee a problem.Beware: I used those multi strip pine boards from Lowes to make a book shelf. The longitudinal joints are coming unglued over time in places. A few bucks saved seems like a bad idea now.
No bias pot.Have you built the -35V bias section, I would like to see how you do this part, and are you adding in a bias pot.
Cheers Ron
Looking good kap.
So, did you read or hear much about the classictone transformers for the brown amps before deciding to go with them, or was it mostly a right-price, good enough specs kind of thing?
I have a couple Classictone in my 5e3s.
I’m thinking of going this route too but may opt for the expensive version that has both the lower plate voltage leads (300v) as well as standard 330v to see if there’s one I like better. But if 330v does the trick for most everyone who makes 6g3 clones, I’d just assume not fuss with the extra cost and experimentation....you got any thoughts for me on that?
When do you anticipate turning it on?
Just a matter of wiring the board in now. Most everything else is done. I just have to stay motivated.

Ps:just watched vid. Nice! Maybe up and running in next few days....cool.

That helped a ton, Steve! Thanks.I went down the route of the expensive version with the 300-0-300 taps as well as I wanted to try and hit the schamatic values as closely as possible. Careful rectifier selection made this possible. seemed worth it to me but I'm not sure if there was any perceptible difference in sound other than in my head.....
Hope this rambling helps.
