While travelling down the rabbit hole on Youtube, I found this gem. I've heard dozens of versions of the National Anthem played on guitar, and various other instruments. It's a tough song, and there are a lot of failed attempts on record, but dang. this is really good.

The National Anthem played by James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett

    What are your favorite versions?

Overdone a bit? With an orchestra AND from the roof of the palace?? Sir Doctor Brian May could pull that off by himself in a lavatory.

Very cool version, but my favorite is still the version put together by Huey Lewis & the News.
