Offered this St. Blues guitar for a 2010 USA Strat Special. What yall think? Not sure if it's a USA Memphis build or Korean build yet. Tia

I've got a St. Blues Strat variant called an Eliminator, after the ZZ Top album. BG supposedly selected the "hot rod" metallic color, which looks blue in some lighting and grey in lower light. I've read that 6 were done in this color. It is an early one built during the transition from Strings and Things custom shop to St. Blues branding. I think the guitar is basically a partscaster with pickups wound to Tom Keckler's specs. The neck is v-shaped on the back.

My main guitar is a St. Blues Bluesmaster, the model that was made in the USA and prior to their Korean made experiments. It’s a very good guitar with workmanship that rivals some of Fender’s best. Great guitars.

OMG! I have the same guitar, it was my first "real" guitar, bought in 1983 (I think). Mine is even the same color, which I love. Mine has a Kahler, which was OEM. Tom loves bone nuts, so note that he installed the locking nut BEHIND the bone nut. Are there really only 6 of them? That's insane!

Here's a pic of mine, just took it.
