Has anybody built one, and I'm not talking about the ones using rope to load up the catapult, I'm looking for one that will launch these suckers into another county!!
I'm thinking heavy duty spring loaded Texas to Oklahoma trip:)

@Shuster - please get ready to be flamed for this thread.

And I'll get ready to lock it when it turns into a fight.

No; I happen to love animals & wouldn't do that to one.
I have prairie dogs & if someone tried to do that to one of them, it wouldn't end well for them. 20190903_144041.jpg

We have one, but only a handful of birds fit on it at one time.
I'm looking more towards the skeet launching territory catapult!!

When I read this I immediately thought of an old Warner Bro’s or Looney Toons cartoon.
My brother built a trebuchet that would toss a 10# bag of flour 150’
    Sorry, not much help

YouTube has several examples of squirrel launchers, each more hilarious then the last.
    There's even a "greatest hits."

Another option might be a dog that hunts them. Or even a trap.

    Band name of the day!

Although I do not endorse the practice.

I'm sorry but I fail to see the humor in abusing animals.

Well, had one of these when I was a kid. Pour some seed on the arm, get a really long lanyard and a good hiding place, and you're in business.

In the interest of virtue signaling, I do not endorse squirrel throwing. But if you do build one, please upload a video. ;)

But 1/3 to 1/2 of the country does so...*

We feed a fox squirrel with one eye and a shriveled hand. He doesn’t need us to but - we do.

Toughest animal I ever saw. Takes no crap from the jays or any other squirrel. And hunts/gathers alone. (Pack animals...)

    So, cracker/hillbillypalooza all you want.

    Ain’t gonna get One Eye...

*hard to wrap my head around the fact that the folks most likely to eat them want to fling them and make them harder to find.

Is it some redneck meat tenderizer ?

In some states squirrels are regulated as game animals by the state Wildlife Resources Department . Be sure to get a state hunting license :)

Okay, I know this is probably asking too much, but is it possible to build a squirrel launcher big enough to launch that squirrel Mike Eskimo? :D

    Asking for a friend.
