Hi,
As I don't speak English, I'm using a translator, hoping to make myself understood.
I own a Squier Telecaster Classic Vibe 60 Thinline guitar, and I'd like to change the bridge for a 6-saddle.

On the forum, I found this link:
https://www.stewmac.com/parts-and-h...electric-guitar/gotoh-modern-bridge-for-tele/
I would like to know the reference, to see if I could find the model in a French store.
I'm not sure this is the same model.
https://www.emma-music.com/chevalet-cordier-tele-gotoh-6-pontets-modernes-chrome-gotoh-c2x32728715?PGFLngID=0

The 2nd question is, I would like to change the tuning machines, on the Telecaster CV60 Thinline, it's a Vintage style, I would like a Modern style like on the Fender Telecaster Player, is it possible?

Thank you

Hello. Your translator is very good.

Yes, the French Gotoh model is the same as the Stewmac model.

Yes, you can change the tuning machines to Modern style. Here are some examples:

Check to ensure they are the correct size to fit through the holes in the headstock of your guitar. I do not remember if the Thinline has 8.5-mm holes or 10-mm holes for the shafts of the tuners.

Bonne chance.

Hi,
Thank you very much for your answers.

1. I can already buy for the bridge, thank you very much.

2. I've looked at other topics on tuning machines.
Not in a modern style, but vintage.
As these models :
https://g-gotoh.com/product/sd91/?lang=en

https://www.guitarpartsfactory.us/W...e-Chrome-Vintage-Tuners-for-Fender-Strat-Tele

Or in the comments on e-commerce
https://www.emma-music.com/mecaniqu...ginal-a-blocage-kluson-c2x32722140?PGFLngID=0
(the person took the Göldo HW40C bridge it seems to me that it's the same as the Gotoh.)

I'd say I was looking at 8.5-mm, wouldn't you?

Thanks again

These are described as 8.75-mm (Wilkinson) and 8.8-mm (Kluson). Hopefully they will fit the holes in your guitar headstock.

Hi,
Thank you very much.
I was checking headstock for my guitar before buying.

Should the subject be resolved?
Or do you recommend changing something else on the guitar?
Thank you.

Hi,
Great !!
Excuse me, one last question, on the page to buy mechanical tuners, there are 4 choices for the Orientation field.
What's the difference between Treble and Bass?
It seems to me that on the guitar, the mechanical tuners are not Staggered Post, are they?

https://hipshotproducts.com/collections/guitar-tuning-machines/products/vintage-guitar-tuner-upgrade-kit-6-inline-headstocks

-Bass Side Staggered Post
-Bass Side Non Staggered
-Treble Side Staggered Post
-Treble Side Non Staggered

Thank you

Staggered tuners are recommended to improve tuning stability. They create a better angle for the string, between the nut and the tuner. Non-staggered will work, so you can buy them if you choose. I recommend the staggered. Other people here may have a different opinion.

Thank you for your message, I understand better why it is better to take Staggered.
What reassures me and that I had ordered, by putting in the field Orientation "Bass Side Non Staggered", I would not have made a mistake.

Thank you for all your answers.

Have a good weekend.
