    Hey Androo,
That CV50 looks better than most I've seen. Love the color of the neck!

I'm sure you can - it's a cost free account ;)........aslong as you don't exceed the bandwidth and need to go pro.

You can actually do it with fewer clicks. ;)
when you're looking at the pic you want to post, there's a box on the right: Share this photo, choose the last code at the bottom IMG and click it.
it will highlight yellow and say copied.
now you paste that in your post here, without using "insert image" and what not.

    Thanks!

Indeed! I joined. ( and went PRO ) BTW: Androo, I really appreciate the turn-on! I'm a graphic artist, and video producer...so...Photobucket is perfect for me!

So, I joined, uploaded a couple of photos, and followed Androo's directions. I put in the URL(s), and....nothin' ( Invalid format...??? ) So I uploaded them from my computer... ( same old small pix!!?? ) They's sumtin' I's mos' def missin' here!
But, like I say; Thanks! ( I don't think it has anything to do with your advice...
I think it has to do with the usual arcane weirdness of TDPRI! )

Hmmmm....try it again, make sure you don't put "http://" in twice. When I highlight the URL on my Photobucket picture it, and Copy that URL, then hit "Isert Image" on TDPRI, it already has an "http://" ready to go. I've forgotten to delete that a coupla times and it says "invalid format" ?? could be it?

Thanks Keef! Melikes too. The 3ply white brings out the yellow.

And to get back on track with the OP....that white binding on the sunburst just looks killer against the edge of the 3ply blackguard.

3ply magic. Love everything about that.

WD music has them a bit cheaper (I saw $20 for black or white) than warmoth, but i have no idea what quality or cut of the holes are on those. MusicGoRound & Guitar center often have them for around $25.

I bought mine from Warmoth. It's a really nice guard, fits on perfect-o. I'll buy the black one from them too. Whoooops....don't have the guitar yet!

    Warmoth PGs

As mentioned above, I got my tortise-shell pg from Warmoth, and the quality is really good. I would be doubtful of the quality of cheaper ones, 'specially if you're considerin' black

BTW: If anyone out there's lookin' for a "mint" condition "Mint Green" pg from my CVC ( with the plastic & the sticker still attached ) I got one! ( I'm just sayin'....)

Ive changed pickups, swapped necks and swapped pickguards on my CVs and after all that I've ended up back where I started. Just leave the guitars as they are, they are perfect.

    Uh.....Second Thoughts.......?

I dunno, after seeing all the CVCs with Black PGs above, I'm thinkin' 'bout gettin' one for my CVC ( the one with the Warmoth tortise-shell pg above...)
I mean, what the hey, I could always just figure out what mood I'm in on any given day....................!

That's what I am thinking. But that itch for a mint guard is bugging the crap out of me.
    ;)
