Will be interested to hear from moonman2 on this. It does look a bit close, even in the first pic, which seems to be full frontal.

They did indeed.
Surprisingly, it didn’t even need a set up. I just screwed the neck on, put strings on ... and the action was great.
The guitar has come alive.
Very resonant and has lots of projection.

Slightly.
It’s not extreme though.
It seems to gradually get a little closer to the edge, as it moves higher up the neck.
It’s not so much towards the nut.
It’s a Hosco neck, so I assume that there’s a slight thinning of the neck at the high end on the high E side.

I think it is.
Admittedly I bought it used, but I assumed the plate is stock.
(Could be wrong though).

nut end vs body end ...

Just detuned and shifted the saddles a mm or two to the left and adjusted the saddle heights so there’s less of a curve. Then retuned.
This is the outcome / result ....

Plays great (surprisingly great).

It’s a 7.25 radius, so it’s obviously easier to pull/push the strings over; but not unless you physically go out of your way to.

I always wondered if the bullet bodies would accommodate a Standard neck.
