DAMN that's nice!!!!!!!!!!!!
FUKN AWSUM !!
I´m really in love with your Tribute Broadcaster and this Tribute Esquire..!!!!
That finish looks great, how'd you get it to "sink" into the grain? Is it from not sealing the wood or something else?
If one wanted to do a copy of this esquire/tele, what would the main essential things to have added?
Id probably go with the bardens seeing as he loves those recently!
But what was the main ingredients in making it the great guitar it was/is?
I saw The Boss LAST NIGHT play for 3 hours in the final stop of his Magic Tour in Kansas City. I saw all of these guitars. My vantage point was basically above and behind the stage. It was really cool to see the show from that angle.
At one point my heart stopped when he fired that black guard tele about 15 feet in the air to his guitar tech who was still racing up the stairs at the back of the stage. What a show. My hearing loss is now nearly complete.
That's freaking badass!
I still seal the grain, but I don't fill it in completely. I spray the nitro lacquer very, very thin which allows it to sink in.
One of my favourite pics:
Now mine too! Awesome!
Man, are you sure it's a clone and not the real thing? Wow!!! incredibly cool
That looks so cool. I am surprised he didn't call you to buy it so he could drag it our on stage. It sure fooled me. I think we should all start a petition for Bruce to have Fender replicate his most famous telecaster. I ask one thing. lets not make it one of those $20,000 replicas.
Yeah I saw him just last week and it was one of the best shows I have ever seen, period. We lucked out incredibly and got into the front row of the pit, leaning right up against the stage. I got a great look at several of the blonde-ish teles he uses these days from just a couple of feet away because he walked over right in front of us a several times... I guess they're Fender relics, but I think he's put a lot of wear on them himself over the past couple of years. Very cool looking guitars.
In fact, it got to the point where I thought to myself "Maybe I should be spending less time focusing on his guitar and more time enjoying BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN playing the Thunder Road solo 2 feet from my head" haha
Anyway, I've been lucky enough to see him 5 times over the past 10 years or so, and it was an experience I will never forget!
What a beauty
Oh man! You are so lucky!!!
August 30 / Milwaukee, WI / The Roadhouse at the Lakefront
Harley-Davidson's 105th Anniversary
great pic!! looks to be one of the copies?
dont know about the black wristband things though? must be feeling the strain of touring considering hes been wearing them recently......
those sunburst telecaster customs (regardless of their actual vintage) look incredible. jonesin' fer one of those!
Yeah that's not "The" telecaster, I haven't seen him using it this last tour, I saw him 3 times but never a glimpse of his famous guitar. Anyone knows why he's not using it anymore? Is it falling apart or what?
i think he's keeping it safe at home...retired from the road I would say
