It's based on the Laney LC50 MK2
The Laney schematic shows the original, which will give you a base for the required impedance etc.

Wow, it really helps to give wrong info to noobs.

That is a 2EB1C1B tank, Belton specs.

You DO NOT want a *BB****, that is the wrong input impedance.

The correct Belton replacement is 3EB1C1B.

If it uses the Accutronics code you want an 8EB1C1B (if 9.25") or 9EB1C1B (16.25").

You can also get one with different decay characteristics (4th digit). 2 or 3 would be suitable for longer decay.

Tech talk is used, and needed in technical fields to describe methods, actions, functions and components. In this case used to differentiate between 20 different reverb tanks. You mentioned upgrade as your purpose in replacing the tank.
If it was just broken, we would give you the part number and a source.
But you wanted an upgrade, with no clue as to what that means, longer delay, more springs, etc. So you were provided the info to allow you to choose. If the data is confusing ask for clarity, help is here. Just don't ask for help and then complain about the help you're provided. If it's too much to process you can also take it to a local tech.

You could also ignore all numbers in financial transactions. I don't disagree that it is all bs, anyway...

I thought saying i was looking for a upgrade...meant a better sounding reverb,if the original was broken,i would have said it was.Upgrading is not the same as not working.Anyway i talked with a person at Amplifiedparts, and he knew actly what i needed for a better sounding upgrade. It,s all good.

We aren't trying to be difficult or talk over your head, but it is these details that make the difference between tanks. There are dozens of different tank out there, and many of them will "work" with your amp. Unfortunately, "better sounding" and "upgrade" are words that will mean different things to different tastes. I prefer a long, 2-spring reverb for vintage tones like a Princeton. Others prefer short, 3-spring tanks for a different tone. Unless you can tell us what you dislike about your current tone and what you would like in a replacement, you answers will indeed be all over the place.

If you can, before you start swapping parts, go out and try several different types of amps with different reverbs. Narrow down the ones you like, and inquire what type of tanks they have. Some may not even HAVE tanks, but are solid state. We can't give you direction until you know your destination. :)

Amplified Parts will likely have all the necessary specs on your amp and what tank(s) it will accept. MOD seems to be a preferred tank maker nowadays, but AP may suggest another.
