There’s one team I’ve followed since the late 1950s, through the highs and the lows. I used to listen to them on a summer night under my covers with a little crystal radio. They play in the only professional sport I and about all my friends back then hoped to be a part of, and their presence in a hallowed sports museum is what drew me and two adult friends to drive all day to see it. I’ll admit to not watching as much of their play during their abysmal seasons, but I still keep track and hope for the best.

I am a Falcons fan since 6 years old until I die. And they are bad at football and I love them regardless. They are beyond a doubt my favorite sports team. And I’m a sports fanatic.

I heard that.. I was in third grade. Grew up in a little town in Va. I was watching football on channel 7. I watched a rb in red and black, big beautiful G on side of helmet, roll over University of Tennessee LB. Became a UGA Bulldogs fan that day. They went on to win the NC that year. Same year the U.S.A. beat USSR in hockey during the Olympics for the gold. The year 1980. Never have lost faith in my Dawgs. Alot of ups and downs. Then, 01 10 2022 I got to watch with my son our Dawgs win their second NC. Priceless moment shared with my son, it was grand. From here on out in college football it is all good for me. That moment and day, my son, Dawgnation, and myself won. It was and is a blessing. Thanks for replying to thread.

They are fun to watch also. Rugby is a great sport. I am rather new to it. Been following it for 3 years now I think.

Bartkowski was a beast at Cal. the south bay had plunkett from james lick high, then later Dan pastorini then later Bartkowski... all great great great players.... I think Claude Humphrey should get a shout out too...

Some call you winners because of the cause you represent on your jersey. I salute that. Also, win or lose I think you have it covered with the two bottles of bubbly
on the left.
Granted, they've both made "no matter what" pretty easy for a large portion of my lifetime:
Down here our sports teams regularly play games against other countries, our national sporting colours are the green and gold of the Wattle...
Our state team wears Maroon....
NRL Club teams often change their jersey designs and colour schemes, so they don't wear the same strip all the time... which can be a bit confusing on a casual glance at the TV.
