Was wondering if someone could throw some advice my way on how best to split my signal coming out of my stomp boxes so I can play through two amps at once. Thanks in advance for your help.

A stereo chorus pedal can do it as well, but it's not switchable like an A/B/Y is.

Lehle P-Split. Transformer isolation and phase/polarity switch.

Lehle Little Dual does aby if you want stereo and no hum.

A stereo pedal (like a chorus, tremolo or delay is the easiest way),not switchable and non ground loop preventive in case of ground loops.

Radial twin city ABY is what I use. A little pricey but worth it.
I had the big shot and it did have a little tone loss if I had to engage the polarity.
No issue with the twin city.

:cool:Back in the day I briefly ran two Dual Showman TFL-5000D's through two small box Fender 212 enclosures, one cab had EV's and one cab Black Widows. It was BRUTAL but sounded like The Fender Mount Olympus. If I was EVER going to THAT again it'd be with Silverface Champs!!!
I kept the A-B box it's around here somewhere.:D

Haven't used the EHX yet, still waiting on the amp for it. Forty bucks new. The other one was used, non powered, the light is there just to let you it's operating. That was 30 bucks used, works like charm. But ABY really is the way to go I think

I wanted the same so I tried a stereo chorus pedal and it works sometimes ?
So I bought a Radial hotshot aby switcher pedal and put in in my FX loop on the Rebel 20 amp and all the effects go to both amps !
Down in this post a ABY switcher was mentioned that may be better !

I never had a sound so full without loud volume like this , the tone fills any room and surrounds you !

My delay is set low but now it seems so authentic as anologe is suppose too sound !
Once I get both amps working right with signal I do not switch it !
Best tone I ever heard was my Rebel 30 and my Laney VC-30 going together I swear it blows me away with the realism and tone !

Lehlie is the best. Second best is Fulltone and its soft click switches.
All the rest a distant third.
Avoid morley.
I send my modulation fx to my cleanest amp and the other amp for gain sounds.
Simultainious it is glorious.

A split signal is weaker like if using a simple AB switch box.. That may or may not be something that works for you. There are devices that normalize the signal with no loss.

I own one of these. Highly recommended. Boost sounds great also.

I'm not much of a stomp box guy, but I've run my guitar signal out to two amps before, several ways. One is running out from my Boss ME-70, the only effects pedal I have. This muti-fx pedal has Right and Left/Mono Amp Outputs, so you can send the signal to two amps. Easy peasy.

But I don't gig with this pedal all that much, plus the previous method didn't allow for switching between amps. So another tool I have for the job is my Live Wire Solutions ABY Box. Solid metal box, dependable, and inexpensive. And no problems with hum. As for the signal being weakened, if it was, I didn't notice.

Lots of options. I can see why some would work for some better than others and why potential changes to the signal might work better with some amps than others. I've got a Boss Chorus Ensemble (5, I think) that has Stereo Outs, as does my Ditto Looper X2. Nice to have the option to split it at different points, if needed. I can also see why an ABY would be awesome to have for the versatility of going from one to the other.

Try em all. See what works for you.
