    My favorite Spencer Davis single! Steve was like 17 when he sang that. Where did these brits get these soulful voices?

    The Spencer Davis Group track was recorded in October 1965. It's thought that the Yardbirds' 'Heart full of soul' was the first recording featuring the Tone Bender pedal, back in April of that year. Jeff Beck is photographed with one at Ready Steady Go, in June.
