    i've never been there... i've imagined it to be a place of brawling braggarts and loathesome cretins based on its reputation at strat-talk.

    Best I can figure, it's because I had the temerity to voice indignation at the bosses for not simply posting an "Out Of Order" notice on the front door when it was down a month ago.

    It would help if you make the picture a bit smaller, but I think you may be using callipers to measure the internal dimmer of a trumpet valve casing. :D

    Bloody predictive text! "Diameter", not "dimmer, but I see you are indeed measuring the thickness of the headstock. Only you can know the true reason...:twisted:

    Don't you have a bigger display?

    Nope, but after googling "trumpet valve dimmer" I have learnt that I don't need to oil my trumpet valves unless I've cleaned them.

    Actually it was a very successful attempt at adding weight to the headstock to wake up a tired note. Now I just need to figure out how to permanently fix the calipers there :confused:
