Maybe it wasn't Godzilla, maybe it was hamsters. It's broken. You know as much as we do.

Well, yeah it’s kinda serious but aside from maybe one guy, everyone in that discussion is a card carrying Strat fanatic but has ideas about how they could be better or should have stayed true to the original.

Me... I’m on my second brush with Strats. I had an American Standard back in the early 90’s but what with my mulllet hair, neon coloured shorts, T-shirts and mesh shoes, I just didn’t know how to work it. Fortunately for the Strat, it was confiscated by a music store before any of my stupidity could run off on it.

Today, I’ve got two Strats and can’t get enough of them. I always have one within arms reach. I blame TDPRI for that. I joined in 2010, got this weird idea that I needed a Telecaster, loved it. Then encouraged by my Telecaster success, I decided I should get a Strat. Just a beater to see how I liked it. I got a neglected $250 beater and did some updates. I couldn’t put it down. Then I started jonesing for a Classic Player 60’s because it has all the right stuff right off the shelf; it’s a sunburst. Now I’m jonesing for a Strat in either Mary Kaye White or Sonic Blue. It never ends.

I know hamsters, some of my best friends are hamsters. They wouldn't do this sort of stuff, it's unlike them.

Just for laughs me a month before my 19th birthday. First gig I ever played. I’m the tall nerd in the chords and dress shirt and vest behind the cool guys. Still have that guitar.

i had a hamster once. used to let him drive my sister's 'Barbie Car'. He was a terrible driver...like leaving rubber wherever he went. at least i think it was rubber.

anyway, he was a cute little fellow.

    my dog ate him.

    For real?? That's sad :(.

My son has had hamsters for 5 years now...he's on his 3rd one. The previous ones passed on from old age. It was pretty sad when they passed. I was surprised how attached you can get to a hamster. They each have their own personalities and can be fun to watch and play with.
