Currently have a Weber alnico signature 12 in my Li'l Dawg 12 watt Prince. I'm looking for more headroom. The sig 12 breaks up early. I'm thinking the Weber 12F150 ceramic is the way to go. Would it offer more headroom and more volume? What wattage should I be using 25 or 50? I'm thinking 50, but I'm not sure. I'm open to other speaker suggestions.

    Thanks

I loved the Emi RW&B in my BFPR clone. The CRex also sounded fantastic, but the RW&B sounded a touch more "Fender-y" on the high end. Both speakers made the amp sound huge, and did great at both home & gig volumes.

My short answer would be Weber F150 ceramic or the Emi R W & B.
    Good Luck

I think the Eminence speakers have a general reputation of being very loud/efficient.

Dont know about the 12" specifically, but when I was looking for a late-breaking 8" speaker for my SF VC, Ted Weber recommended (and I went with) an 8F150T.

Still waiting for delivery though . . . so can't yet give a report on actual results.
