There are numbers at the bottom of the second speaker, but there ought to be a speaker code somewhere else printed on the speaker. See if you can find that.

Big-n'-heavy ceramic magnet, that's for sure.

The speaker is from a small amp Gretsch Lancer 1957 that I bought a year ago. The speaker is the only non-original part, so I'd be interested to know what type it is. The amp works, but has quaite a lot of noise, so I'm planning to repair it. Can anyone recommend a good service in Europe?
I'm also not sure whether to keep the speaker or install a new one. The sound is fairly authentic and interesting when I play ES-355. The speaker has only one code: 95X9. Would it be possible that it has another code at the front side? Can anyone tell by the shape of chassie (basket) which company produced it?
