my last two were from musikraft but now that they're no longer supplying bodies, where is the best place to go for a bound tele body?

    Does MJT offer non-reliced bodies?

I believe it’s made to order. I have been thinking of ordering one. I watch their eBay auctions.

The one body I've ordered is from Warmoth. Would order again :)

I recently got one from Rosser Guitars on eBay. Good value, good looking body.

There’s always guitarfetish. Their bargain line of bodies can be hit or miss but they are cheap, and their higher line (XGP or something like that) are actually not bad at all. They sometimes have interesting finish variations, beyond the usual suspects.

Not sure if you're need a finished body, but I've been looking to finish my first double bound tele and found these build-to-orders (apart from Warmoth & MJT):

    Guitar Mill

    BYO Guitar

    Solo Music Gear

    Precision Guitar

XGP is by far the cheapest but they've been out of stock for a while.

I don't see any bound bodies listed on their ebay auctions either. Ideally, what I'm looking for is a standard T ash body (preferably one piece), finished in black nitro, no cuts (tummy, forearm …), top bound only, in tortoise.

I suggest calling Kevin. I got a super nice thinline body with a Ric-style f-hole from him for a really good price. Nice woods, nice craftsmanship, nice weight, nice timing, nice communication, etc.

Solo is a great option in Canada - I trust all of their stuff. I wish Guitar Fetish didn’t charge so much for shipping to Canada. Yes, some of their stuff needs work and fitting, but I can do that and the prices are great for the variety they have. But the shipping just kills the deal in Canada. South of the border, they are a bargain.

Mine is an XGP from Guitar Fetish. No problems with fit or finish, and the color and look, well judge for yourself! 20200611_170819.jpg

Guitarfetish and XGP bodies are not full thickness so I won’t consider them
