Yes, it's amazing how many of my questions you answered in your first post! :) Thanks again for the details, though.

Wish my normal playing was 1/3 of your "sloppy" playing. Great amp! I'd like to attempt a build one day. Sweet sounds out of that little bugger.

Beautiful amp and very accomplished playing.

I've never built an amp (although, I want to). But, does lead dress become more critical inside a small chassis like that? I'm thinking the signal and DC wires must all be in very close proximity to each other.

    Thanks

That was also my biggest concern, but I tried to follow every rule there is to prevent 50s/60s cycle hum and it worked out pretty good. A similar problem with the lead dressing was to prevent feedback. I had this problem in my first MiniAmp (just had to get two wires seperated from each other). But with some precaution I never had this problem in the MiniAmp 2.0.

I did some more samples of this amp with a guitar you strangely rarely see on this forum :

    Sorry to resurrect...

... but this looks and sounds like a nice amp - at least for those who already have enough Fender-based amps

Elsewhere, I got the impression that someone has drawn a layout for this. I wouldn't trust myself to get it right by reading the schematic.

Nice amp, nice playing. Have you bought your trannies from Tube Town? What are the wattage of the resistors? I guess most of them are half watt, maybe there are some bigger ones in the power supply and in the power section. Are you able to post some pictures from inside?

Thank you, I have not recognized, that it is an old thread. The link you included answered all my questions. I am planning to build this amp as a low budget gift for my friend.
