Clues in the photo...
The hole saw looks.... ominous....
If you drill a bunch of smugglers holes in it, you need a clear pickguard so we can see them
A slide slot ?
I Jr Brownified it
I did this while posting this, in the time it took,..10 mins?
Now to line the hole with felt. Hole is angled upwards to help hold the dunlop in place.
I must admit....it looks ominous.
Slide installed will never get through a TSA search.
Well, let me think about that.
My pocket knife, scissors, and belt made it through. My 5oz shampoo didn't.
You're probably good.
Hidden machine gun port.
Hadn't you asked about this previously in a Jr Brown thread?
Well done nonetheless!!
& I have to say thank you for posting that guitar. I have that same old Wilkinson bridge purchased cheap from a used site with a SD pickup in it. I'd always wondered how it would look mounted. I like how sleek they are.
What is the bridge that's installed on your guitar?
Its a Fishman acoustic bridge made by Wilkinson.
Isn't this what pockets are for???
Does that have the acoustic pickup in each saddle too?
Mine is chrome just like the op's & is just a standard tele bridge, although rather unique looking. I've looked for info when I purchased mine. Somewhat rare.
Ron links an allparts in this thread but it's half size. I'm sure ebbs is all 1 chunk of metal. Mine is. Thick too.
Yes there is a piezo per each saddle and a sterio jack I use a short y splitterchord with.
