There's Billy Gibbons, Robben Ford, and Mark Knopfler.

There's a lot of honorable mentions, but that's it.

Edit: And from a Tele guy of all things, but Knopfler knows how to make a Tele sound like a Tele.

Fun stuff hearing the variety of tones that strike the collective God bone of the TDPRI. Inspiring too!

For my money, Elmore James' Coming Home is the earliest known recording of God Level electric guitar tone. Elmore's guitar prit' near always had a sound that shook the heavens, but this one blasts a hole in the sky. And for some reason he never sounded like this on any other recording, even songs apparently from the same session. Due to a recent heart attack, he was under doctor's orders to not play guitar and sing at the same time--one or the other was fine, but not both! He went ahead and did both on this song and maybe figured he better give it all he had in case he dropped dead.
