I don't mind them when they're limited to the outro. Na .... Na .. Na .. Na . Na . Na .. Na .. Hey Jude.

Fleetwood Mac in the Stevie-Lindsay-Christine era is unlistenable for me due to every hit consisting of little more than endlessly- repeated choruses.

On the opposite end, what about songs constructed nearly exclusively repeating phrases?

Except Jon Anderson explicitly chose vocal sounds over words with word meanings most of the time, and some songs more than others. Yes' lyrics generally make less sense than any native English-speaking writer I can think of. Jon was not into poetry so much as pure vocal music.

I never knew that, but as I sit here and think about Yes lyrics, it seems so obvious...

A seasoned witch could call you from the depths of your disgrace / and rearrange your liver to the solid mental grace

Thanks for that tidbit of info!

While I can't say that I honestly don't like this song (I find it too strange to not enjoy) it is not one of my favorites. The lyrics are just the title repeated until the song ends, going through several styles of music.

There was an annoying hit three or four years ago whose chorus consisted of "I'm ridin' solo" over and over and over again.
