Old and in the Way was the 1st all acoustic album I bought. In the bluegrass world I’d say Old and in the Way,
This is the first place my mind always goes when I hear the term “supergroup”.Blind Faith was called a "Supergroup". Clapton, Winwood, Baker, and Gretch. Their only LP has stood the test of time.
Same here. This is the first place my mind always goes when I hear the term “supergroup”.
John Hiatt, Ry Cooder, Nick Lowe, Jim Keltner
Them Crooked Vultures. Josh Homme from Queens of the Stone Age on guitar and vocals, John Paul Jones on bass and keys, Dave Grohl on drums. Great album of vicious Dad rock if there is such a thing. I wish they’d do another album.
I know there are bands, even one time events, that are made up of mostly famous musicians.
So here is my super group song. "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" with Tom Petty, Steve Winwood, and Jeff Lyne. Someone comes in at the end, another famous guy who is simply put a first class act, showman extrordinaire, and knows his way around a guitar. You have to watch the vieo to find out who it is but trust me, you know him.
Notice how happy Georges son is. I would be too.
Have any? Please post them.
Thanks in advance.
Not everyone's definition of a supergroup, but it fits mine.
