Silly me put lyrics from "Before they make me run" in his high school yearbook. Keith Richards song on Some Girls. Without the references to drugs, it actually might fit. Shows a certain stubbornness and desire to make decisions for myself.

A single song which represents me? Not totally but this comes close:
Hawkwind - Steppenwolf from the album Astounding Sounds, Amazing Music

Hey everybody! Haven't posted in a long time, but I still lurk occasionally. I've kind of been in a funk lately, but I see things improving soon.

This song kinda fits me lately...

A great tune that Lefty Frizzell wrote but apparently never recorded is my choice.
From the movie "Tender Mercies", actor Robert Duvall singing "It Hurts to Face Reality":

As with "Wasted Way of Life", if you're already depressed, it can take you to a really dark place.

If any one song should represent my sentiments - both lyrically and musically - I guess it would have to be this one:

I wish it was ZZ Top's, I'm Bad, I'm Nation Wide (or is it Zed Zed Top)
My kids would tell you it's Springsteen's Glory Days

Life's been good lately so I'll settle on this

Congrats on your, "Teach Your Children To Fly" (my title for it anyway). How did you do in the competition? Seems like that one would be hard to beat.
