Somewhat embarrassing question...Acoustic 12 string

    Plus one to the suggestions to "keep it simple" (lose the string bending)
    I have NO IDEA how Leo Kottke does that crazy finger picking. . . and I met him once.
    Mine is far from perfection (Indo crafted Epi) but I sure like it.

    I have played 12 strings for a number of years. I also play WYWH often as I'm in a Floyd tribute band. One thing about that song is to play all the single notes as downstrokes. In fact I find this is good technique generally. Whilst it may go against standard practice for a six string it keeps the notes consistent sounding throughout the line as you're always striking the octave string first.
