    About three years ago, having recently lucked out on a chunk of old Honduran mahogany, I had picked up a set of flamed local walnut at a really good price (it was about $18 for a set and they had three sets available). Then I forgot about all that wood as life intervened.

    I recently revisited my stash to look for some wood for a project a friend was interested in. The said friend decided not to proceed but having seen the wood again I said what the hell and decided to do a new tele. This photo just in from the finisher. This is after just a coat of sealer. I should have pickup up all the other walnut sets...

    Very nice! Glad you went with a rear route, that walnut is to cool to cover up. Nice symmetry in the bookmatch. P90s? Filtertrons? More pictures as it progresses please.

    Something Wicked This Way Comes is one of Bradbury's best books, IMO. He quotes the line, from Macbeth I think it was, in the story.
